I loved this book. Bob's writing style is fun, energetic, and filled with stories that bring every lesson to life. He has a gift for turning an unusual adventure or unexpected encounter into a simple challenge that follows you into ordinary life.
The book is inspiring without feeling heavy. Bob does not present love as an abstract feeling or something Christians merely discuss. Love becomes visible through attention, generosity, courage, forgiveness, and a willingness to enter another person's life. His stories made me laugh, but they also made me question how often I place limits around who deserves my time and compassion.
Biblically, the central message aligns closely with Jesus' command to love our neighbors and even our enemies. Christ did not reserve kindness for people who understood Him, agreed with Him, or treated Him well. He moved toward outsiders, noticed people others ignored, and demonstrated love through action.
